BIO

Jeanne Wiley, CCR, RPR, attended the court reporting program at J. Sargeant Reynolds and began her reporting career in May of 1976. In 1984 she and her partner and friend, Nancy Cook, founded the firm of Cook & Wiley, Inc. Nancy returned to school in the early nineties, and after obtaining a law degree from T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, she left the firm in 1994 to practice family law. At that time Jeanne became the sole owner and has grown the firm continuously into one of the largest court reporting firms in Virginia.

Jeanne has served on a number of Virginia Court Reporters Association (VCRA) committees and for a number of years was the chief examiner in Richmond for the NCRA certification testing. In 1995 she was elected to a one-year term as president of the VCRA, and in 2003 received the prestigious Frank G. Tayloe Award for her many contributions to the profession.
